72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 21st February 2024 (12noon)

On the south-western edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System, occasional cloud patches are converging across the islands with a weak low-level trough. However, pockets of dry air limit shower activity to a few showers across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Cool conditions may be noticeable early Friday. A plume of Saharan dust with varying concentrations can be expected across our area, creating moderate-haze across SVG by late Saturday...Be Alert!

Gentle-moderate (15 - 25km/h) winds vary in direction from east north-east to east south-east, decreasing to light (less than 10km/h) across our islands during Thursday.

Slight-moderate sea conditions could range 0.5m - 1.0m on western coasts and 1.0m - 1.5m on eastern coasts. Overnight Saturday, small craft operators should exercise caution for reducing/poor visibility in moderate-haze across our islands.
