72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 17th February 2024 (12 Noon)

SVG can expect relatively fair and breezy conditions across during Saturday afternoon and for the remainder of the weekend as the Atlantic high pressure exerts it dominance. In addition, a thin film of Saharan dust haze should be visible across the islands during the next 3 days.

Moderate/fresh(20-35km/h) easterly to east south easterly trades will cross the islands within this forecast period. A slight decrease(~30km/h) is expected on Tuesday. Seas are moderate in open water with swells peaking up to 1.5m on weatern coasts and near to 2.0m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Slight to moderate conditions could return on Tuesday as wind speeds decrease.
