72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 27th November 2023(6pm)

The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to become the dominant feature within this forecast period. However, intermittent showers could interrupt fair to partly cloudy skies in the next few days as pockets of shallow moisture (embedded in the winds) cross our islands. Gentle to moderate (15-25km/h) east north easterly trades are crossing our islands but should temporarily shift to east south easterly on Tuesday. After an east north easterly shift on Wednesday, wind speeds should increase (30km/h) by Thursday. Seas will remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and near 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations should be noticeable across our islands before thinning out early Wednesday.
