72 Hours Outlook

Latest Weather Forecast - Monday 6th November 2023 (6 pm)

Scattered showers, periods of light rain and isolated thunderstorms are forecast into Tuesday as unstable conditions persist across our islands. On Wednesday, partly cloudy skies could be interrupted by occasional moderate showers. Due to the already saturated nature of soils, flash flood watches and/or warnings may be issued in the upcoming days, residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution!

Moderate to fresh (20-35km/h) east south easterly trades will cross the islands, decreasing (15-25km/h) by Wednesday while an east north easterly flow is expected from Thursday. Seas are moderate in open water but should improve by Wednesday. In addition, Saharan dust haze concentrations should begin to thin out on Thursday.

Forecaster: Gregory Cato
