72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 30th November 2023(6pm)

Light to moderate showers and possible isolated thunderstorms are likely into Friday as pockets of moisture crosses our islands. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert. A few isolated showers are anticipated from Saturday mixed with relatively fair conditions.

Gentle to fresh (15-30km/h) east north easterly trades are crossing our islands but should decrease (25km/h) from Friday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and near 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Seas could become generally moderate (1.5m to 2.0m) from Sunday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations are across our islands but should thin out before the forecast period ends.
