72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 29th October 2023 (6pm)

Unstable conditions with elevated moisture levels continue to support mostly cloudy skies, light-moderate rain, moderate-heavy showers and isolated thunderstorm activity across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Rainfall accumulations and soil saturation vary across our islands…A Flash-Flood Watch remains in effect for SVG…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should continue to exercise caution. Slight haze may be noticeable across our area during Wednesday due Saharan dust.

Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 - 30km/h) south-easterly winds become variable and decrease to calm at times during Tuesday, light south-easterly winds return overnight.

Marine conditions are slight to moderate in open water and range 1.0m - 2.0m, gradually falling and ranging 0.5m to 1.2m with slight conditions across SVG by Tuesday. 

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
