Although a weak shearline will maintain a northward path away from our islands today(Sunday), fair to occasionally cloudy skies may result in a few passing showers. The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to dominate the weather pattern from Sunday night and a relatively dry and stable environment would lead to a reduction in the chance of showers into midweek.
