Weather Outlook - 4th September 2022(12 Noon)

As Tropical Storm Earl continues its west north westward path away from the Eastern Caribbean, equatorial moisture would be drawn to our islands as southerly winds prevail. In addition, the system's position is the main catalyst behind the reduced wind speeds which facilitates the warm conditions experienced across our islands. Day time heating, coupled with light southerly wind speeds increases the likelihood for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm activity across Sunday afternoon. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert.
