72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 23rd August 2022(12 Noon)

Surface to low level instability lingers across the islands and could trigger a few localised showers across SVG during mid afternoon Tuesday. Residents and motorists in the red and orange zones near the La Soufriere volcano should continue to exercise caution. Conditions should improve temporarily into Wednesday as a ridge pattern builds. However, by nightfall a wave would approach the islands. This could lead to a few moderate showers early Thursday. Models suggest that the tail end of this wave should generate cloudy skies on Friday with scattered showers; some of which may be moderate to heavy at times. The SVG Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the progress of the wave and provide the necessary updates.
