72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 1st May 2022(12 Noon)

The Atlantic high pressure system would dominate the weather conditions over the next few days across St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Therefore, fair to occasionally cloudy skies are anticipated. These conditions may be accompanied by brief spells of light sporadic showers. Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) east south easterly trades should become generally easterly on Monday before shifting to east north easterly from Tuesday. Wind speeds may slightly decrease(~30km/h) on Wednesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking up to 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 2.0m to 2.3m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells especially on eastern coasts. Saharan dust haze concentrations should begin to thin out from early Tuesday.
