A light ( 10km/h-20km/h) south easterly wind flow continues to move across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as Hurricane Sam drifts further north away from the region. This southerly pull will allow for moisture to be advected across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the next 24 hours. This coupled with a marginally favourable upper level is likely to result in occasional scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms. After which, around Thursday night, Hurricane Sam will no longer have an effect on the winds across SVG, and the wind direction is forecast to change, to blow mainly from the east and to increase gradually in strength.
