72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 20th August 2021(12 Noon)

A shearline that emanated from a passing tropical wave would continue to generate cloudy skies accompanied by occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms across our islands Friday into Saturday. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides and near rivers or streams should continue to remain alert. Some marginally improved weather conditions are likely late Saturday and during the earlier parts of Sunday, however by nightfall, models suggest that another tropical wave should begin to affect the islands into Monday. Moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated. The SVG Meteorological Service would continue to monitor the progress of this wave and provide the necessary updates.
