72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 21st June 2021 (6 pm)

Concentrations of Saharan dust have thinned out across our area, although occasional patches of slight haze may be noticeable at times. Low-level clouds could bring a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. An approaching tropical wave could bring increased cloudiness towards Tuesday afternoon; with light rain, pockets of moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms expected across SVG during the night. The tropical wave could linger near the island chain during Wednesday and Thursday, with upper-level features supporting moderate/heavy showers and thunderstorm activity…Be alert in areas prone to flash-flooding, or near rivers and streams.

Moderate to fresh (20 – 35 km/h)
