Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can expect breezy conditions for the next few days. Models suggest a weak low-level trough should cross the islands during early Saturday. This should generate occasional cloudy conditions on the mainland while the majority of any possible showers could concentrate mainly across the Southern Grenadines. A few mid-morning isolated showers are quite likely as the new week begins, while brief sporadic showers are anticipated for Monday.

A predominantly east north east to easterly moderate to strong (20km/h-45km/h) flow is expected over the next 72 hours, with the strongest(closer to 45 km/h) of these trades crossing the islands today(Friday) and across Saturday.

As a result of the increased wind speeds, sea conditions will gradually deteriorate heading into Saturday, with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and closer to 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
