72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 2nd May 2024(12 Noon)

As a broad area of moisture crosses our island chain, cloudy skies will persist, accompanied by scattered light to moderate showers. These conditions are anticipated into early Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, fair to partly cloudy skies are forecast with the chance of a few isolated showers.

Moderate to fresh (20-30 km/h) east south easterly trades will cross the islands during the next three days. Seas are  moderate in open waters with northerly swells ranging between 1.5m-2.0m. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal northerly swells. On Friday, swell heights should decrease. Slight Saharan dust haze intrusion is expected from Saturday.
