Saharan dust haze concentrations will be present during the next three days, significantly reducing visbility and air quatlity across our islands. Residents should be aware of reduced air quality. The presence of Saharan dust intrusion may not only suppress significant shower activity but it could exacerbate warm conditions over the next few days. The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to dominate the weather conditions.

Gentle to moderate (15-25km/h) easterly to east east south easterly trades are anticipated during this forecast period. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.2m on the western coasts and up to 1.5m on the eastern coasts. In addition, Small craft operators should be aware for reduced visibility in dust haze.
