Weather Outlook - 21st April 2024 (12noon)

The Saharan dust layer across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is currently thick and concentrations could vary over the next few days...Remain Alert! Thinning-out of the dust concentrations can be expected overnight Wednesday, with increasing moisture levels and scattered showers across our islands.   

Gentle-moderate (15 - 25km/h) breeze across our islands increase occasionally near 30km/h and vary in direction between east north-east and east south-east.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 0.5m - 1.0m west of our islands and 1.0m - 2.0m east of our islands...Small-craft operators should exercise caution due to reduced visibility(poor-very poor) in dust-haze. Saharan dust concentrations could thin-out to slight-haze during Thursday.
