72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 13th April 2024 (6pm)

Unstable conditions will continue to generate cloudy skies and trigger intermittent light to moderate showers across our islands tonight into Sunday. As Sunday progresses, cloud cover could occasionally reduce allowing for periods of relatively fairer conditions. The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to rebuild and dominate the weather pattern on Monday.

Moderate to fresh (20-30km/h) east north easterly trades will shift to east south easterly overnight. A general easterly to east south easterly direction is expected from Sunday. Seas will be moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5m on western coasts and ranging between 2.0m to to 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.  In addition, no significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated during this forecast period.
