72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 9th April 2024 (12noon)

Fair weather mixed with low-level clouds and a few/isolated showers continue across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Saharan dust with varying concentrations could create slight-haze across our area by Thursday and clear by Friday evening. Shower activity could increase across SVG overnight Friday.

Gentle-moderate (15-25km/h) north-easterlies, become occasionally fresh (30 -  30km/h) across our islands by Wednesday and directions temporarily turn east south-easterly on Thursday.

Sea conditions are slight in open water, with north-easterly swells ranging 0.5 - 1.0m west of our islands and 1.0 - 1.2m east of our islands.  Swell heights are expected to rise, with moderate (1.5 - 2.5m) sea conditions across our islands by late Wednesday...Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for rising swells(above normal) and occasional gusty winds by Thursday night.
