72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 17th April 2024 (6pm)

Shower activity across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) has been sparse, due to pockets of dry air with hazy conditions. A few showers are likely across SVG during Friday and Saturday. However, a plume of Saharan dust with dry air is approaching our area and concentrations could become dense by Saturday afternoon. Reduction in visibility (very poor) and limited shower activity (brief and isolated) can be expected across our islands for a few days...Be Alert!

Moderate-occasionally fresh (20 - 30km/h) breeze could vary in direction between easterly and east south-easterly across our islands.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 0.5m - 1.2m west of our islands and 1.2m - 2.0m east of our islands. Small-craft operators should exercise caution for reducing visibility in dense dust-haze by Saturday.
