72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 14th January 2024 (12 noon)

A few showers are likely by late Sunday evening mostly across the Grenadines islands. After which, mostly sunny conditions are forecast to prevail under a dry and stable atmosphere during Monday and most of Tuesday. Brief showers are anticipated on Wednesday as a shear line moves over the island chain.

Winds will blow generally from the east north east (ENE) at 20km/h to 40km/h, allowing for breezy conditions. Seas are forecast to be moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and ranging between 2.0m – 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal swells. No significant haze intrusion is forecast.

Meteorological Forecaster: Desiree Neverson-Jack
