72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - December 12th 2023 (12 noon)

Scattered showers will continue for the remainder of Tuesday. The atmosphere across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will remain unstable, resulting in a mix of cloudy conditions and sunshine for the next two days, with the chance of isolated showers. Instability can be enhanced by a low level trough around Thursday night/Friday and showers are forecast to become moderate, possibly heavy around Friday. Model guidance is indicating roughly 1 inch of rainfall by Friday night.

Winds will blow from the east north east (ENE) at approximately 20km/h-30km/h. Gusty conditions are expected near showers on Friday night. Seas will become moderate to rough in open waters with swells ranging between 1.5m-2.0m on the western coasts and 2.5m- 3.0m on the eastern coasts. No significant haze intrusion is forecast.
